Christopher Skinner is proud to be Ronnie Smith Kennels’ first woman and first second-generation apprentice to pass the Advanced Trainer Certification Program.

She is a Certified Professional Advanced Trainer with Team HUNTSMITH and serves as an AKC Evaluator for:

•Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
•Trick Dog
•Temperament Test

Her approach emphasizes clarity, consistency, and a proven foundation through the Silent Command System, ensuring each dog develops both confidence and skill.

Training Programs
Formal Pointing Dog Training Class

90 Days • $1,500/Month • $4,500 Total

•Comprehensive training using the infamous “Silent Command System.”
•Dogs progress through Foundation, •Intermediate, and Advanced levels.
•Suitable for dogs 6 months and older.
•Builds fundamental bird-dog skills and develops steadiness.
•Ideal preparation for hunting, testing, and trials.
•Graduates leave the course “Green Broke.”

Puppy Development Program
2 Weeks • $750

This course lays the foundation for your pup’s success in future training.

Focus Areas:
•Building prey drive on live birds
•Field introduction and exploration
•Preparation for formal gundog training

Key Details:
•Recommended for puppies 4 months and older
•Also beneficial for older or inexperienced dogs
•Prerequisite for dogs with no bird exposure prior to formal training

Obedience & Field Training – Private Instruction

•$80 per hour
•$500 full-day instruction
•Reservations required

Tailored sessions to meet your specific training goals. Ideal for refining obedience, handling, and advanced field work.

•$50 per night
•$40 per additional dog (same family)
•$30 daycare
•$30/day for stays of 30+ days

Cancellation Policy

Full refund if canceled by noon the day before the stay begins.

50% refund for the first 7 canceled days if canceled after noon the day before.

No refund for cancellations made on the day of the stay.
